How-to: Use Your Library Account Online
You can access your library account, to see what you have checked out, place holds, or renew items, from anywhere you have an internet connection.
You will need to know your library card number and your password (default password is your phone number).
How to Log In
Renew Items You Have Checked Out
Once you have logged in, you can renew items you have checked out. Items can be renewed ONCE and only if no one is waiting on hold for the item. If you have already renewed once, you will not be able to do so again.
Remember: Items renew from the day that you renew them.
Place a Hold on an Item
You can place a hold on any items in the Atlantic Library's catalog, with one exception. Items that say _Bridges_ in the call number cannot be placed on hold in the library's catalog. These are electronic items.
To place a reserve/hold on an item:
Automatically Add Your Name to an Author list
You can automatically be added to hold lists for specific authors. You can do this in your account.
Don't Miss a Hold/Reserve!
Going on vacation? Don't miss a hold you've placed! You can defer your holds until you get back.
See What You Have Checked Out
You can see a record of what you have checked out in the past from the Atlantic Public Library.
Change Your Password
You can change your library account password at any time.

How to Log In
- First, click on Catalog in the menu bar, or click on this link.
- In the upper right corner, you can enter your library card number and your password. Click on Log In.
- Once you have logged in, you will see a button that says My Account. You are now logged in.
Renew Items You Have Checked Out
Once you have logged in, you can renew items you have checked out. Items can be renewed ONCE and only if no one is waiting on hold for the item. If you have already renewed once, you will not be able to do so again.
- Click on My Account.
- Click on Items Out/Renewals
- Click on the Renew button next to the items you wish to renew, or click on Renew All Items at the top of the list.

- Look up the item in the catalog. You can search by title, author, or keyword.
- Find the item in the list of results.
- Click on the Reserve this item button.
- Choose your notification preference.
- Click on Place Reserve.
- You are now on hold for the item and will be notified when it is available.
Automatically Add Your Name to an Author list
You can automatically be added to hold lists for specific authors. You can do this in your account.
- Click on My Account.
- Click on Reserves/Requests
- Click on receive new books.
- Click on the authors you would like to automatically be placed on hold for. Your name will be added to a reserve list whenever a new book is added to the collection.
Don't Miss a Hold/Reserve!
Going on vacation? Don't miss a hold you've placed! You can defer your holds until you get back.
- Click on My Account.
- Click on Reserves/Requests.
- Click on defer.
- Choose the beginning date of your vacation and choose the end date. You won't receive any holds while you're gone!
See What You Have Checked Out
You can see a record of what you have checked out in the past from the Atlantic Public Library.
- Click on My Account, once you've logged in.
- Click on History.
- You can then scroll down through your checkout history.
Change Your Password
You can change your library account password at any time.
- Click on My Account, once you've logged in.
- Click on Account Info.
- Click on Update My Password next to Secure Password.
- Choose a new password.
